I am passionate about helping women feel strong, confident, and capable in their bodies again. My clinical interests lie in women’s health, returning to fitness post-partum, and supporting people to return to sport after injury. I work with patients at all stages of their journey, from early rehabilitation through to building strength, resilience, and confidence for real-life movement and sport.

I have experience working in an acute orthopaedic setting within the NHS, which has given me a strong foundation in injury management, post-operative rehabilitation, and evidence-based care. I also have experience working within other MSK clinics, helping people of all ages return to competitive sports. This background allows me to combine clinical expertise with a practical, person-centred approach that fits around real lives, busy schedules, and individual goals.

Alongside my clinical work, I’m a keen horse rider and runner, and a former competitive rower. I understand first-hand the physical and mental challenges that can come with injury, setbacks, or returning to movement after time away, whether this is after pregnancy, surgery, or a sporting injury. I am passionate about delivering rehab that isn’t just about reducing symptoms, but about rebuilding trust in your body and confidence in what it can do.

Education: 1st Class BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy 2023, University of Teesside

Experience – 3 years of NHS experience, a mixture of acute ward-based and Specialist Musculoskeletal outpatients.

Trauma is any stressful event which impacts on your emotions and affects your nervous system e.g. losing a loved one, being bullied, having surgery, going through divorce or separation, unhealthy relationships, moving house, children leaving home, a pet dying etc.
